How to Fully Lower the Rear Window of a Passat?

Press the button to the first position and release it when the desired position is reached. Briefly press the switch to the second position to automatically open the window. Push the button upward to the first position and release it when the desired position is reached. Pull the button forcefully to the second position, and the window glass will automatically rise and close. Simply hold the unlock button on the key for about 3 seconds, and all four window glasses will synchronously lower.
I've been driving a Passat for several years, and lowering the rear window is actually quite simple. You find the window switch button on the rear door armrest, which is a small square or round button marked with a downward arrow. Press and hold it until the window is fully lowered. Note that sometimes the button position is a bit further back, so it may take some practice to reach it with your fingers. If the window moves slowly or doesn't respond, the window track might be dirty or the rubber seal might be old and stuck. I often use this trick to ventilate the car when it's stuffy in the summer heat. Remember not to get too distracted by lowering the window while driving—prioritize safe driving. I recommend regularly cleaning the switch and track to extend their lifespan and reduce malfunctions.
