How to Force Calibrate the Screen of a Car Navigation System?

Locate and select the "Settings" option on the display screen. Once in the settings page, swipe up to view more options, find the touch calibration option, and select it. A confirmation prompt for calibration will appear on the screen; click the "Confirm" option. Follow the on-screen calibration prompts by clicking the corresponding positions to complete the calibration.
Once my navigation screen was misaligned and it took me a while to fix it. Forced calibration is actually not difficult. First, start the car and turn on the navigation system, but don't start the engine, otherwise the battery might not have enough power. Go into the settings menu and look for the screen calibration option. If you can't find it, try pressing a combination of buttons for a long time—for example, in my car, you press NAVI and SETUP for ten seconds to enter diagnostic mode, then select touch calibration. Follow the prompts to tap several corners on the screen to confirm position accuracy, and repeat the test a few times to ensure there's no offset. Screen drift can sometimes happen due to high temperatures or aging, so it's best to park in a shaded area when performing the calibration to prevent accidental touches or dangerous movements. If resetting doesn't work, check the manual or contact the 4S shop—they have professional tools for deeper debugging. Remember to perform regular maintenance, such as calibrating the screen every quarter, to avoid issues during long trips.
