How to Fold the Rearview Mirror of the Excelle?

Only the top-tier connected flagship model of the new Excelle is equipped with an automatic rearview mirror folding function; other models do not have this feature. Press the rearview mirror adjustment button downward to fold it. For other models without electric folding functionality, lift the mirror slightly upwards first, then push it firmly towards the door to fold it.
Folding the mirrors on the Buick Excelle is actually quite simple, with two scenarios: power folding and manual folding. For power folding, there's usually a mirror adjustment knob on the driver's door armrest area. Just rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise to the folding icon position, and the mirrors will automatically retract—you'll clearly hear the motor sound during operation. Manual folding is much more straightforward: stand beside the car and push the mirror base outward with your hand; a little force will fold it. Just remember not to pull on the mirror glass to avoid damaging the wiring. It's best to fold them during routine car washes to prevent scratches, and don't forget to fold them in tight parking spaces to save room. I used to manually fold them on the older model, but newer versions mostly come with power folding, which is much more convenient and avoids the hassle of getting your hands dirty in the rain.
