How to fold down the rear seats of the Elantra?

There is a switch for folding down the rear seats in the Elantra. Simply pull the switch to fold down the rear seats. There are two types of seats: 1. Leather seats: Easy to clean. Compared to fabric seats, dust only settles on the surface of leather seats and does not penetrate deep into the seat, so a simple wipe with a cloth can clean them. For fabric seats, seat covers may need to be purchased, otherwise, once dirty, stains may seep into the seat. 2. Leather: The surface is fine and soft to the touch, with almost no visible pores. It is sturdy and very flexible, making the seats processed from it extremely aesthetically pleasing. This is the most commonly used material for car leather seats.
I've been driving the Elantra for several years, and folding down the rear seats is quite straightforward. Usually, there's a small pull strap or button at the top of the rear seatback—just pull it to unlock, then push the seatback forward. The design might allow for a 60/40 split fold, such as folding down the left side for longer items. Remember to remove the headrests first to prevent them from getting stuck, and check that the seat belts aren't tangled to avoid damage from pulling. Folding the seats down significantly increases trunk space, which is very practical for me when traveling with large suitcases or ski gear. Be careful not to force it; if it gets stuck, slightly adjust the seat position. The manual includes detailed diagrams, so it's a good idea to review them before operating to avoid accidentally damaging any components. Using this feature regularly can save a lot of hassle.
