How to fold down the rear seats of the Avalon?

The rear seats of the top-trim Avalon Flagship version cannot be folded down. For other trims, there are release switches beside the rear seats - simply pull them to fold down the seats, which can be folded proportionally. The Avalon is one of Toyota's luxury sedans, measuring 4975mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1440mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2870mm. It features dual-tone interior design, a 9-inch multimedia touchscreen, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, traditional analog gauges flanking a 7-inch HUD display, and driving mode selector buttons plus an electronic parking brake behind the gearshift.
I found that folding down the rear seats of the Avalon is actually quite simple. There's usually a small pull tab or button at the top of the seatback—just give it a gentle pull, and the seat folds forward. It's best to do this when the car is parked and no one is sitting in the back. One pull, and voilà, the space instantly expands. This feature is super useful in daily life, especially when transporting long items or going camping—perfect for fitting in tents or shopping bags. Remember to check if the latch is securely locked after folding to prevent wobbling on bumpy roads. Occasionally spraying some lubricant can keep the mechanism smoother. I use it often myself—it saved me a lot of effort on moving day.
