How to Flatten the Rear Seats of a Levin?

Locate the two differently colored buckles on both sides of the rear seats; press both buckles simultaneously with your hands and pull the rear seats downward. The rear seats can be folded down using the shoulder switch. The buckles are used to secure the rear seat switches. After flattening the seats, unfasten the seatbelt buckles on the seats. Press the lumbar support switch to adjust the seat angle at the lumbar position. Lift/press the seat cushion adjustment switch to raise/lower the seat cushion height. Moving the switch forward or backward allows the seat to move forward or backward.
Folding down the rear seats is something I frequently do in my daily car use, especially when moving items or going on long trips to accommodate more luggage. The rear seat design of the Levin is quite user-friendly. When sitting in the rear seats, if you look towards the seatback, you'll notice a small pull strap or button at the top or side of the backrest. Gently pulling it upward or pressing it will unlock the seat. Then, apply some force to push the backrest forward, allowing it to lie flat on the seat cushion—the whole process is straightforward and smooth. However, before pushing, make sure to remove any items on the seat to prevent jamming. After completing the action, press down on the seat to ensure the latch is secure and doesn’t wobble. It's important to check this before driving, as an improperly locked seat could cause issues during sudden braking or sharp turns. I find this feature extremely practical. For instance, when I often pick up friends or carry items, folding the seats doubles the space, allowing large suitcases or boxes to fit in—much more flexible than a regular sedan. I also like to regularly clean dust from under the seats to keep the mechanism smooth and ensure comfortable use.
