How to fix the automatic folding issue with Audi A6 side mirrors?

Press the brake pedal and click the vehicle's one-touch start button to start the engine. Press the [Menu] button on the instrument panel to bring up the menu interface, then click the [VIEW] button on the left side of the multifunction steering wheel to switch the instrument display. Tap the [Fold Mirrors] option on the central control touchscreen, then press the [Confirm] button on the left side of the steering wheel to complete the setup.
The automatic folding function of the Audi A6's rearview mirror isn't working, and my friend encountered the same issue before. He initially thought the mirror was broken, but later found out it was just set not to fold automatically. I suggest you first check the settings in your car. Look for 'Vehicle Settings' or 'Comfort Functions' on the central control screen and make sure the automatic folding feature is turned on. Sometimes accidentally touching the switch can turn it off. If that doesn't work, check the fuse. Its location is usually in the small box under the steering wheel on the left side. Open it and see if the fuse corresponding to the rearview mirror icon is blown—just replace it if it is. In winter or rainy weather, it might get stuck due to freezing; try manually moving it a few times, but don't use too much force to avoid damage. If you still can't fix it, take it to an Audi service center for inspection—it might be a motor or sensor issue, and the repair cost isn't high.
