Method to exit navigation in Honda CR-V: Press and hold the back button to exit. The back button is the BACK key. However, after exiting navigation, the navigation sound will still be active. You must also turn off all sounds. There is a small speaker icon in the navigation interface to turn off the navigation prompts. The Honda CR-V is equipped with a 1.5L inline 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or CVT continuously variable transmission. It delivers a maximum power of 142kW and a maximum torque of 243Nm. The fuel supply method is direct injection for all models. Except for the manual transmission version, all other models meet the China VI B emission standards.

I've been driving this CRV for three years, and exiting the navigation is actually quite simple. Don't operate it while driving; after coming to a complete stop, find the navigation interface on the center control screen. There's usually an 'End Navigation' button in the upper right corner—just tap it to exit. There's also a back button in the functional area on the left side of the steering wheel; pressing it twice in succession will also exit navigation mode. Alternatively, activating the voice assistant and simply saying 'Exit Navigation' is even faster, provided you haven't disabled the voice function. The navigation automatically turns off after shutting down the engine, which is a thoughtful design. If you frequently use voice control, you won't even need to manually operate the screen—it's both convenient and safe.

I remember the first time using the CRV navigation, I missed an exit on the highway and the navigation kept beeping, making me sweat with anxiety. Later, a friend taught me to look at the upper right corner of the center console screen—the end button is right there. Alternatively, lightly pressing the return button on the steering wheel twice will stop the navigation voice. Usually, I prefer using voice control; holding the call button on the steering wheel and saying 'cancel navigation' is the easiest. It's advisable to turn down the navigation volume a bit, so in case of a misoperation, it can be quickly handled. The car's design is quite reasonable, but the key is to familiarize yourself with the operations beforehand.

Exiting the CRV navigation is just three steps: don't touch the screen while driving, find and tap the 'Cancel' button on the navigation interface after parking; press the return button on the left side of the steering wheel twice to exit; or hold down the microphone button and say 'End Navigation'. The navigation program will automatically close after turning off the engine. Nowadays, driving relies more on voice control, with minimal manual operation of the center console screen. It's recommended to lower the navigation volume to avoid sudden traffic alerts causing distractions.

How to Read the Gauge on an Automotive Air Conditioning Pressure Meter?

The red indicator on an automotive air conditioning pressure meter represents the high-pressure side, while the blue one indicates the low-pressure side. The units for pressure values include kg/cm², MPa, kPa, and Psi. When the compressor is running, maintain the engine speed between 1500-2000 r/min and activate the air conditioning to engage the compressor. Typically, the low-pressure side should read around 150-250 kPa, and the high-pressure side should be approximately 1400-1600 kPa. Below is additional information regarding air conditioning system pressure: 1. The pressure in the air conditioning system is diagnosed using a manifold gauge set. The method involves connecting the high and low-pressure hoses of the gauge to the respective high and low-pressure service (charging) ports of the system. Set the air conditioning to the coldest setting and the blower speed to the highest. Enable recirculation mode, direct the airflow toward the face, and open all doors. 2. Operate the air conditioning system (ensure the engine maintains a steady speed, usually 1500 r/min, as using only idle speed may affect accurate fault diagnosis) and observe the gauge readings (for R12 or R-134a, normal operating pressures are: low-pressure side at 1.8–2.1 kgf/cm², high-pressure side at 12–14 kgf/cm² and 13–15 kgf/cm², respectively). If the readings fall outside these ranges, the air conditioning system is malfunctioning.

What does TRIP-A mean on a car?

TRIP-A refers to the short-distance mileage, also known as the trip mileage. TRIP is an English word meaning short-distance mileage. The function of TRIP-A is to help users calculate the kilometers traveled for each trip, and it can also be used to calculate fuel consumption based on the trip mileage. You can long-press the reset button to clear and reset it to zero. More details are as follows: 1. TRIP-A and TRIP-B odometers can be switched. To reset, press the small black button on the right for about one second. There are no restrictions on using TRIP-A and TRIP-B odometers. 2. TRIP-A can be set to reset to zero each time you refuel to calculate fuel consumption; TRIP-B can be set to reset to zero for each maintenance interval, such as every 5,000 KM. It can also be used to calculate the average fuel consumption over a certain period (several refuels). 3. The total odometer records and displays the vehicle's total mileage, which is the distance traveled since the vehicle was put into use. The total mileage of a car varies depending on the type of vehicle. 4. For common passenger cars like family sedans, the normal lifespan is 15~20 years, and under proper maintenance, it can last 300,000~500,000 kilometers. For common commercial vehicles like container trucks, the normal lifespan is 10~15 years, with a mileage of 400,000~800,000 kilometers.

Why is the car's one-button start not working?

Here are the reasons why the car's one-button start sometimes does not respond: 1. Check if the key is nearby, as the one-button start relies on key sensing. The car cannot start if the key is not present. 2. Verify if there was an operational error. If you only press the button without stepping on the brake, the car will power on, but the engine will not start. Another scenario is not holding the button long enough or not pressing it all the way down. 3. The gear is not in the P (Park) position. "Sensing issues": 1. Frequently placing the car key near electronic devices such as mobile phones, computers, or TVs may interfere with the low-intensity radio waves in the key. Alternatively, strong radio waves from nearby sources like TV towers, airports, or power plants can cause the one-button start to "fail." 2. The car key battery is low: If the remote control distance shortens or the sensing becomes less responsive, it indicates the car key battery is running low. In this state, the one-button start function will not work properly, and the battery should be replaced as soon as possible. 3. Car malfunction: In extreme cases such as fuel system issues, dead battery, or short circuits in electronic components, contact the 4S store staff directly.

Is a Four-Wheel Alignment Necessary After Changing Tires?

Generally, a four-wheel alignment is required after changing tires. The functions of four-wheel alignment for vehicles: 1. Significant benefits for tires: After a four-wheel alignment adjustment, the tires can maintain the optimal angle with the vehicle body, ensuring both improved grip and comfort. 2. Enhanced handling: After a four-wheel alignment adjustment, driving control can be correspondingly ensured. In emergency situations, sufficient tire grip allows the vehicle to follow the driver's intended path as closely as possible. 3. Fuel savings: After a four-wheel alignment adjustment, the vehicle can travel along the correct path, reducing wind resistance to some extent and consequently lowering fuel consumption. 4. Ensured driving safety: During a four-wheel alignment adjustment, the condition of the vehicle's suspension system and other components is also checked. This inspection can determine whether the tires have any adverse effects on the chassis system.

Can You Still Drive After the Car Overheats?

When the engine temperature is too high, you must stop the car immediately for inspection and must not continue driving. Otherwise, it can easily damage the engine, even requiring major repairs. To determine if the car is overheating, check three things: 1. The temperature gauge. 2. The temperature warning light. 3. Whether there is steam coming out. The temperature warning light should be given special attention because it is more noticeable and easier to see—it will light up first before the car overheats. Common reasons for overheating include: 1. Insufficient coolant. This should be checked first and is basically the only thing you can inspect yourself. If you are on the highway or in a remote area without coolant, you can temporarily use water as a substitute. 2. A dirty radiator. The radiator has many pores formed by cooling fins, which can easily accumulate debris, sludge, and other deposits, reducing airflow and cooling efficiency.

Is Crystal Coating Harmful to Car Paint?

For a new car, crystal coating does not cause damage to the paint surface; however, for a car that has been used for some time, crystal coating can potentially harm the car paint. For a new car, crystal coating only requires deep cleaning of the paint surface, followed by mirror restoration, degreasing treatment, and then applying the crystal coating directly. Since the paint surface of a new car has fewer contaminants and almost no scratches, the process is relatively quick. For a car that has been used for some time, the paint surface must first undergo polishing, followed by mirror restoration, degreasing, and finally, the crystal coating application. Due to various environmental factors causing different degrees of damage to the vehicle, it is essential to remove any contaminants or scratches from the paint surface beforehand to ensure it is smooth, allowing the crystal coating to achieve the best results. Benefits of Crystal Coating: Scratch Resistance: The high hardness of diamond crystals prevents most minor scratches and possesses elastic recovery capabilities. Corrosion Resistance: The ultra-fine nano-crystal layer of diamond crystals isolates the paint surface from the external environment, effectively preventing oxidation and acid rain corrosion. No Cracking: Diamond crystals are resistant to UV rays, extreme temperatures, and strong temperature variations, preventing cracking or peeling. Easy Cleaning: The robust fiber network of diamond crystals fills the tiny pores on the paint surface, achieving a mirror-like effect, making it easier to clean and maintain. Anti-Static: Diamond crystals contain anti-static agents, reducing dust adhesion to the paint surface. Enhanced Shine: The crystal structure of diamond crystals, similar to that of diamonds, increases light refraction, resulting in a brighter and more translucent paint surface.
