Keyless start systems come in two types: push-button and rotary knob. Push-button: The ignition button is located within easy reach on the center console, hence also known as one-touch start. Rotary knob: Typically positioned at the original key slot, but requires no key insertion. Simply turn the knob to start the engine. Keyless start, also referred to as keyless ignition, operates as follows: Door operation.
