How to Eliminate the Tire Pressure Warning in Lavida?

Lavida tire pressure warning elimination method: First, turn on the ignition switch, press and hold the tire pressure monitoring reset button until you hear a "dong" sound, then release it. The tire pressure monitoring system will store the current normal tire pressure data, automatically clear the previous data, and finally, the dashboard warning light will turn off, completing the tire pressure warning elimination. Abnormal tire pressure is generally caused by the following three reasons: Abnormal tire pressure: Generally, a warning will be triggered if the pressure is below 1.8 bar or above 3.0 bar. At this time, tire inspection and pressure adjustment are required. Tire pressure monitoring not reset: After inflating the tires, if the tire pressure is not reset in time, the tire pressure monitoring system will still record the previous data, causing the tire pressure monitoring indicator light to turn on. At this time, simply perform a tire pressure reset. Damaged tire pressure sensor: The tire pressure sensor is used to monitor tire pressure and is directly installed inside the tire, connected to the tire inflation port. If the tire pressure sensor is damaged due to impact while driving, it will also cause the tire pressure warning light to turn on. For sensor damage issues, only replacement with a new component is possible.
I just encountered a tire pressure warning on my Lavida, which is quite common. First, get out of the car and check the air pressure of all tires, including the spare. Use a pressure gauge to measure and ensure the pressure matches the recommended values in the manual (usually around 2.3 bar for the front tires and 2.5 bar for the rear tires). The most accurate readings are taken when the tires are cold. If the pressure is low, inflate them immediately. If there's a severe leak, the tire will need repair. Then, get back in the car, turn the key to the 'on' position or start the engine, and locate the tire pressure reset button (usually labeled TPMS or SET) on the lower left side of the steering wheel or in the infotainment menu. Press and hold it for a few seconds until the warning light flashes and goes off. Make it a habit to check tire pressure regularly, as it changes faster in cold or hot weather. Keep a pressure gauge in the car to reduce false alarms. If the warning doesn’t clear, there may be an issue, such as a faulty sensor or wiring problem, and you should take the car to a shop for diagnosis. Don’t delay, as a tire blowout at high speed is extremely dangerous.
