Search for Jinxi Traffic Police Training Base as the destination on the map. Once arrived, continue driving up the mountain along the brand-new main road. The internet-famous bridge refers to the viaduct, which has gained popularity due to its three-tiered bridge structure, serving as the main body of the new Taiyuan Tianlong Mountain Tourist Highway. You can drive there yourself using car navigation to reach the internet-famous bridge. Additionally, please note that random parking is prohibited when visiting the bridge. The traffic police department will deploy specialized officers, establish a "task force", organize dedicated night patrol teams for enforcement, and implement measures combining fixed-point and mobile operations. Illegal activities will be penalized through methods such as turning vehicles away, on-site fines, ticketing with photo evidence, street-sweeping vehicle recordings, and compulsory towing.

When driving from downtown Taiyuan to the viral spiral bridge, I usually take the South Central Ring route. The smoothest time to depart is before 8am. Head west on the South Central Ring Expressway, exit at the Xinjinci Road intersection, then turn right onto Jinyang Avenue and drive straight for about 15km. You'll see signs for Jinyang Lake along the way - don't turn, keep going straight until you reach the Tianlong Mountain Scenic Area entrance where you'll need to purchase tickets. The famous spiral bridge section is inside the scenic area with many sharp turns and narrow roads, so remember to drive slowly and watch for oncoming traffic. Weekends afternoons get extremely crowded, so I recommend going early and returning early to avoid getting stuck on the mountain roads.

I went there just last month, and taking the Jinci Road is quite convenient. Drive from the city towards Jinci, but don't enter at the Jinci Park gate—continue west to Taiyu Highway and turn right. There are more trucks on this route, but the scenery is great, passing by Jinyang Lake and the Mengshan Giant Buddha scenic area. Entering the Tianlong Mountain scenic area costs 50 yuan for a ticket, and the viral bridge is on the second level of the uphill road. I recommend bringing some snacks and water, as the shops at the mountaintop parking lot are pricey. If you find the return route confusing, try taking the West Middle Ring Road—it has fewer cars.

As a local, I recommend avoiding weekend afternoons. I usually depart at 6 AM when the South Extension of Binhe West Road is particularly empty, taking just 25 minutes to reach Jinyang Avenue. Inside the scenic area, the spiral bridge has a speed limit of 40 km/h, and it's quite dangerous as tourists often stop on curves to take photos. Families with children can first park at the scenic area's parking lot (free parking) and then walk 200 meters to the viewing platform for the safest view of the bridge's panorama. Remember to bring a sun hat, as the mountaintop has no shade and is especially sunny. Leaving before 4 PM helps avoid traffic congestion.
