How to Drive an Automatic Transmission Passat?

Insert the key and start the vehicle. When the RPM on the dashboard drops below 1000, press the brake with your right foot and release the handbrake with your right hand. Shift the gear from P (Park) to D (Drive). Slowly release the brake with your right foot, and the vehicle will start moving. Then gently press the accelerator to gradually increase the speed.
When I first learned to drive, I chose an automatic transmission Passat, which is particularly suitable for beginners. The first step after getting in the car is to adjust the seat and rearview mirrors to ensure clear visibility; then, firmly press the brake pedal and start the engine, at which point the dashboard will light up. Next, hold the gear lever, keep pressing the brake, and shift to the D (Drive) position to indicate forward movement; gently release the brake, add a little throttle, and the car will smoothly start. On the road, speed is mainly controlled by the throttle and brake, and the Passat's automatic shifting eliminates the need to worry about the clutch in a manual transmission. When parking, first bring the car to a complete stop, shift to P (Park) to prevent rolling, then engage the handbrake and turn off the ignition. In daily city driving, pay attention to slow turns and braking in advance; the Passat's braking system is very reliable, but regular checks ensure safety. On slopes, it has an assist function to prevent rolling back, and after a few weeks, you'll get used to the convenience and ease of an automatic transmission.
