Insert the key, start the vehicle. When the RPM on the dashboard drops below 1000, press the brake with your right foot and release the handbrake with your right hand. After shifting the gear from P to D, slowly release the brake with your right foot, and the car will move forward. Then gently press the accelerator to gradually increase the speed.
When I first started driving the Passat, I was a bit nervous, but gradually got the hang of it. First, sit in the car, fasten the seat belt, and make sure the doors are closed. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the right until the dashboard lights up. If it's a push-button start, simply press and hold the button until you hear the engine start. Wait for all systems to complete their self-checks, then check the gear to ensure it's in P (Park). Shift to D (Drive), lightly press the accelerator, and you're off. Maintain a steady speed. During the beginner phase, pay special attention to the left and right side mirrors and the rearview mirror to observe blind spots. The reversing assist camera is super helpful for parking. The Passat has light and responsive steering, making it easy for beginners to adapt. It's advisable to have an experienced friend accompany you the first time you drive to avoid accidents. Always prioritize safety by fastening your seat belt, regularly checking tire pressure and lights to ensure visibility when driving at night. On highways, use cruise control to reduce fatigue, but beginners should practice in open roads first.
