How to drain oil from a sedan?

While the engine is running, collect the oil carefully to prevent splashing, especially avoid getting oil on the ignition system as it can easily cause a fire. Locate the fuel pump relay, use a wire to bypass the fuel pump relay to activate the fuel pump, and collect the oil from the engine's fuel inlet pipe.
I used to change the oil at home myself. First, make sure the car has cooled down for a while to avoid burning your hands. Find a slope or use a jack to lift the car safely—safety first. Crawl under the car and locate the oil pan drain bolt, then loosen it gently with a wrench, making sure to place a large oil pan underneath to catch the old oil. Once loosened, the oil will pour out. Wait until it’s mostly drained before tightening it back. Oh, and don’t forget to replace the oil filter—just don’t overtighten it. Never dump the old oil randomly; I always take it to an auto repair shop for recycling—it’s eco-friendly and saves money. The whole process takes about half an hour. Regular oil changes keep the engine more durable and the ride smoother. If oil spills on the ground, clean it up promptly.
