How to Determine the Quality of Car Spark Plugs?

Methods to determine the quality of car spark plugs: 1. A healthy spark plug electrode should be light yellow in color; if the electrode appears black, it indicates an incorrect air-fuel mixture ratio. 2. If the electrode is oily, it suggests a misadjusted spark plug gap or excessive fuel supply, or a short or open circuit in the high-voltage wire. 3. If there are black deposits, it means the spark plug is carbon-fouled and bypassed. Steps to install car spark plugs: 1. Open the engine hood and pull off the cylinder wire by hand. 2. Use a dedicated spark plug socket to remove the spark plug. 3. After taking out the old spark plug, place the new spark plug into the dedicated spark plug socket. 4. Insert the spark plug socket into the engine cylinder. 5. Connect the high-voltage wire, install each spark plug one by one, and then tighten the engine hood.
