Fuel consumption increases significantly because the vehicle fails to accelerate properly, leading the driver to unconsciously press the accelerator harder, naturally increasing fuel consumption. 4. When climbing hills or under heavy load, the engine RPM is high, but there is a noticeable lack of power, and the vehicle speed increases slowly.
