Press the "MENU" button below the display, rotate the "LIST" knob to enter settings, and press the "Dial" button below the steering wheel. At this point, the display will show "Not connected to any phone". Press the "LIST" button and select "No" to confirm. Rotate the "LIST" knob to enter Bluetooth settings, press the "LIST" button again, scroll down to find "Delete Device", and delete the corresponding Bluetooth device.
Removing paired Bluetooth devices on my CR-V is actually quite straightforward, as I enjoy tinkering with these electronic settings. First, start the car engine, then tap the center display to access the homepage and open the settings menu to locate the Bluetooth option. Inside, select the list of paired devices to view all previously connected devices. Long-press or choose the device you want to remove, then confirm the deletion. Remember, the reason for deletion might be to add a new phone or resolve connection issues—I once had an old iPhone that kept disconnecting, and removing and re-pairing fixed it. The system automatically refreshes the list without affecting other functions. For newer CR-V models, the interface is more streamlined, and the path might be Settings -> Connectivity -> Bluetooth Management. It's best to perform this operation while parked—safety first. Also, I recommend regularly updating the vehicle's system firmware to avoid Bluetooth conflicts. After deletion, testing new device connections becomes noticeably faster—a trick I use often.
