How to Defog the Front Windshield of a Nissan Qashqai?

A simple method is to use the air conditioner. Blowing air from the air conditioner can quickly reduce the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the glass, which will remove the fog, but the effect is slow. Applying a layer of soapy water on the glass can solve this problem. However, if it rains or the glass is washed, the soapy water will be easily washed away. You can also use a glass anti-fogging agent. This product prevents water from adhering to the glass, alleviating fogging, and it is also waterproof.
I've been driving my Qashqai for several years, and fogging on the windshield is a common issue, especially annoying on rainy days. I immediately activate the air conditioning system and press the button that looks like a fan blowing at the windshield, located on the center console. Then I turn on the AC function to dehumidify, setting the temperature to a warm level around 20 degrees Celsius—not too hot to avoid burning my hands. I increase the fan speed, and usually, the fog clears in about three to five minutes. At the same time, I switch to the external circulation mode to let fresh air in and prevent moisture buildup inside the car. If the glass is dirty, fog forms faster, so I wipe the inside of the windshield once a month with a microfiber cloth to remove dust. This method is simple, efficient, and ensures safety.
