How to Deal with Water in the Car Chassis?
1 Answers
If the water ingress in the car is not severe, simply open the windows on a sunny day to allow thorough drying. There are sealing rubber plugs located at the lower part of the vehicle chassis. Opening these plugs can drain the accumulated water inside the cabin, but the floor mats should be removed and placed in a spacious area to facilitate water evaporation. If there is still moisture inside the car, it is important to turn on the air conditioning and adjust the vehicle's circulation switch to the internal circulation mode. This will allow the water vapor inside the cabin to be expelled through the air conditioning system. Additionally, applying a layer of waterproof coating directly to the chassis can effectively prevent external water from entering the interior of the chassis.
