How to Deal with Water Accumulation in the Car Caused by Sagitar Sunroof Leakage?

Clear the drainage channel of the sunroof, and use a towel to clean the outlet. Replace a new sunroof sealing strip. You need to remove both the front and rear sunroof glass panels, then stick the new one along the edges of the vehicle.
Last time when my Sagitar's sunroof leaked and water accumulated inside the car, I immediately stopped using the sunroof to prevent more water ingress. Then I used dry towels to absorb the water from the carpets to avoid short circuits in the electrical wiring. I checked the sunroof's drainage channels on the roof and found the drain holes clogged with fallen leaves, so I used a thin wire to clear the blockage. Next, I removed the padding under the seats and let it air-dry for three days to prevent mold. The sealing strip had aged somewhat, so I ordered an original replacement part online and installed it to ensure a proper fit. Normally, I clean the drainage channels every three months and open the sunroof for ten minutes after rain to drain any accumulated water and prevent debris buildup. If the water accumulation severely damages components, it's still necessary to have a professional mechanic inspect it—after all, safety comes first, and you shouldn't cut corners. The whole process, though simple, was time-consuming, but it saved me hundreds in repair costs.
