How to Deal with Stickers on a Car?

Ensure that the cleaner used on the car body is specifically designed for car washing. If no cleaner is available, washing the car body with detergent diluted in water is also acceptable. Shake the cleaner well before use, then spray it vertically on the water stain areas of the vehicle. After spraying, let it sit for a while to allow the cleaner to fully penetrate the water stains. Use a clean cloth to wipe the water stain areas of the car body back and forth.
Last time my car got stuck with a small advertisement sticker, which was quite annoying, so I handled it myself. First, I used a hairdryer set to medium heat to warm up the sticker for about three to five minutes to soften the adhesive, then slowly peeled it off from one corner. Patience is key when peeling—don’t pull too hard, or you might leave residue or scratch the paint. After removing the sticker, if there’s leftover adhesive, a few drops of alcohol or toilet water on a cloth can wipe it off easily. For more stubborn residue, use an adhesive remover spray, which is available at most supermarkets. After trying this method, my car looked much cleaner. However, I’d like to remind everyone that if the sticker is large or your car has a newer paint job, the finish might be delicate—avoid using sharp tools to scrape it off to prevent regrets. It’s best to park in designated spots to reduce the chance of getting stickers. DIY is quite fun—it saves money and teaches you something new.
