How to Deal with Squeaky Car Doors?

To ensure the hinges between the car door and the body remain smooth and silent, regularly apply lubricating oil every 2-3 months for maintenance. Open the car door to its maximum angle, then clean the grease and dirt from the surface of the door stopper arm, stopper pin shaft, and connecting bracket. Check if the car door seal is aging. Since the seal is made of rubber, it will gradually age and deteriorate over time.
I've also encountered the squeaking sound from car doors, which is usually caused by insufficient lubrication of the door hinges. It's quite easy to handle it yourself: buy a bottle of automotive-specific lubricant and spray it on the hinges and lock cylinder; make sure to clean off dust before spraying and avoid using too much grease to prevent staining the interior. If the noise is particularly noticeable when opening or closing the door, it might be due to aging weatherstripping rubbing against the body—try applying some lubricating paste with a cotton swab to see if it helps. Loose door hinges can also contribute to the problem; get an assistant to help adjust the door latch screws by gently pushing the door. If these methods don't work, don't hesitate—take it to a professional auto repair shop promptly to prevent the issue from worsening.
