1 Answers
Reversing at highway exits will result in a fine and 12 demerit points. When driving on highways, motor vehicles are prohibited from the following actions: 1. Reversing, driving in the opposite direction, making U-turns by crossing the central divider, or stopping within the lane; 2. Overtaking on ramps, acceleration lanes, or deceleration lanes; 3. Riding or straddling the lane dividing line or driving on the shoulder; 4. Driving or stopping on the emergency lane under non-emergency circumstances; 5. Test driving or learning to drive a motor vehicle. Pedestrians, non-motor vehicles, tractors, wheeled special machinery vehicles, articulated buses, full trailers, and other motor vehicles with a maximum design speed of less than 70 kilometers per hour are not allowed to enter highways. The maximum speed indicated by highway speed limit signs shall not exceed 120 kilometers per hour.
