How to Deal with Oil Leakage in Car Shock Absorbers?
1 Answers
Car shock absorber oil leakage can be addressed by: checking whether the oil seal gasket and sealing gasket are cracked or damaged, and whether the oil reservoir cylinder cover nut is loose. Car shock absorbers are used to suppress the oscillation when the spring rebounds after absorbing shock and the impact from the road surface, accelerating the attenuation of the frame and body vibration to improve the driving smoothness of the car. The replacement method for car shock absorbers is: 1. Loosen the wheel nuts in a diagonal sequence; 2. Lift the car with a jack; 3. Unscrew all the wheel nuts in a diagonal sequence and remove the wheel; 4. Remove the brake caliper; 5. Remove the arm fixing bolts and loosen the fixing nut of the spring support arm; 6. Open the engine hood, loosen the fixing nut of the shock absorber on the upper body, and remove the shock absorber for replacement.
