How to Deal with Odor from the Air Vents of Landwind Car Air Conditioning?

The solution to the odor from the air vents of Landwind car air conditioning is to clean the air conditioning system. The cleaning method is as follows: 1. Remove the dashboard and take out the air conditioning evaporator; 2. Clean the air conditioning evaporator with a brush; 3. Start the car and turn on the air conditioning to allow the foam cleaner to circulate within the air conditioning system; 4. After 5 minutes, turn off the air conditioning and the car. Taking the 2018 Landwind X7 as an example, its body dimensions are: length 4420mm, width 1910mm, height 1640mm, wheelbase 2760mm, minimum ground clearance 190mm, fuel tank capacity 67l, and the body structure is a 5-door 5-seat SUV.
When I was driving my Landwind before, I also encountered a musty smell from the air vents, especially noticeable when turning on the cold air. That time, I tried removing the cabin air filter myself and found it had turned completely black, so I immediately replaced it with a new one. Later, I went to an auto repair shop for a full air conditioning system cleaning—the technician used a spray device to apply disinfectant to the air ducts and evaporator. After the treatment, the smell was indeed gone. Now, I replace the filter myself every six months, and I make it a habit to turn off the A/C five minutes before parking, switching to outside air to dry out the system and prevent bacterial growth. Also, don’t leave fruits or other perishable items in the car during summer.
