How to Deal with High Temperature of Steam Turbine Bearing Bush?
1 Answers
Redistribute the load on the bearing bush. Load distribution of the bearing bush, commonly referred to as rotor alignment, involves adjusting the coupling's face and circumferential deviations. The best method is to redistribute the load and adjust the steam seal clearance. Overhaul and adjust the bearing pad of the second bearing to reduce its load. Ensure the contact of the bearing pad meets the technical requirements for bearing bush maintenance. Scrape the inlet and outlet bevel edges of the tilting pad to reduce flow resistance, thereby increasing the lubrication and cooling flow rate. During reassembly, use an endoscope to check for any residual foreign objects in the oil inlet hole; when placing it into the lower bearing, ensure it is properly aligned and inspect the movement of the lower tilting pad.
