How to Deal with Foggy Side Mirrors?

When the side mirrors become foggy, you can turn on the mirror heating system to defog them. Cars equipped with a mirror heating system have heating wires inside the mirror glass. When the mirror heating is turned on, the heating wires will be electrified to generate heat.
As a long-time driver, I've found that fogging on the side mirrors is mainly caused by temperature differences due to humid weather or high interior humidity. The solution is quite simple: I usually just roll down the windows for a few seconds to ventilate and let the moisture escape; if the car's mirrors have heating function, turning it on will clear the fog in about a minute – many modern cars come with this feature as standard. Additionally, setting the air conditioning to the windshield defrost mode can also quickly remove fog. Never use a towel to wipe, as it's dangerous and likely to leave marks. Instead, spraying some household anti-fog agent on the mirrors for prevention is better. In case of heavy fog affecting visibility, I immediately pull over to a safe spot before taking any action. For prevention, I recommend regularly checking the cleanliness of the mirrors to avoid dust buildup and using the air conditioning's dehumidification feature more often during the rainy season to reduce the chance of fogging, making driving more worry-free and safer.
