Points deduction basis: The "Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China" stipulate that in addition to administrative penalties, public security traffic management departments shall implement a cumulative points system (hereinafter referred to as the points system) for road traffic safety violations committed by motor vehicle drivers, with a points cycle of 12 months.
