How to Deal with Cayenne Hybrid System Malfunction?

Cayenne hybrid system malfunction should be resolved by replacing with a new extension cable. Reasons for replacing the new extension cable: Due to the high-voltage cable between the high-voltage control box and the air conditioning compressor being too short, prolonged engine acceleration and deceleration cause shaking, leading to high-voltage cable short circuits and desoldering of the control box pins. Inspection steps for replacing the new extension cable: First, conduct a computer diagnostic test. Turn off all electrical devices. Check for generator electrical faults and navigation circuit open circuits. It is found that when the key is turned to ACC, the electric fan immediately rotates at high speed, there is no response upon starting, and the dashboard immediately reports a hybrid system malfunction. Then, based on the fault codes, review the circuit diagram. Analysis reveals an issue related to the high-voltage battery circuit. Therefore, disconnect the high-voltage power. Upon inspection, a loose connection or open circuit is found between the air conditioning compressor high-voltage cable and the control box. Thus, first replace the high-voltage cable. After replacement, the fan still rotates at high speed, but the vehicle still cannot start. Reconnect the Porsche factory computer and read the fault codes. The only remaining fault is a navigation circuit short circuit. After replacing the high-voltage cable harness, the issue of the fan rotating at high speed is resolved, confirming the correct diagnostic direction. Suspecting a problem with the high-voltage control box, remove it. After disconnecting the high-voltage power supply, inspect the high-voltage power control box. Upon disassembly, it is found that the signal pins are desoldered. Resoldering resolves the fault.
