How to Deal with BMW ABS and Tire Pressure System Failures?

BMW ABS system failure handling method: The sensing part of the ABS speed sensor is covered by dirt, mud, or other contaminants, which affects the sensor's ability to detect the corresponding speed signal. As a result, the ABS computer cannot determine the vehicle speed or the wheel slip rate, and thus cannot issue the appropriate commands to adjust braking. In this case, simply clean the dirt off the speed sensor and adjust the gap between the speed sensor and the signal ring to restore normal function. BMW tire pressure system failure handling method: Press and hold the SET button with the tire pressure symbol located on the right side of the front of the gear lever. If the tire pressure is normal, the warning light will turn off. Press and hold the tire pressure monitoring button until the light goes off to reset it. Press the tire pressure monitoring button again until the light comes on to complete the setup. Alternatively, you can use the multifunction steering wheel settings to clear the warning or use a computer diagnostic tool to reset it. Open the glove box on the passenger side, and in the upper left corner, there is a button next to the passenger airbag key switch. With the ignition on, press and hold this button until the tire pressure light turns off.
