How to deal with black plastic scratches?

Use specialized coarse sandpaper to sand down and remove the scratches, then use the finest grade sandpaper to polish the area. Afterwards, use a hairdryer to apply heat to the scratched area. Finally, squeeze an appropriate amount of toothpaste onto a damp cloth and vigorously wipe the black plastic scratches. For deep but narrow scratches, colored putty can be used for effective repair, followed by sanding the scratched area with sandpaper. Finally, apply a compound and wax to complete the job.
