How to deal with Audi Q5 parking brake failure?

The positioning component of the gear lever positioning ball head has failed, and the problem can be solved through repair. If the spherical working surface at the lower end of the gear lever is worn out, the gear lever should be replaced directly. Most failures are caused by prolonged wear of the pressure plate or aging of the release fingers. The pressure plate needs to be replaced, and the entire transmission must be removed to replace the pressure plate. Manual transmission cars still use two cables for gear shifting during gear changes. If one of them breaks, it will cause gear shifting problems.
