How to Correct Steering Too Early When Reversing into a Parking Space?

Control the speed well, not too fast. Turn your body sideways and focus on the right rear wheel in the right rearview mirror. Turn the steering wheel to the left in half-turn increments, then continue observing the right rear wheel. Keep an eye on the right rear wheel. When it just touches the extended line of the right side of the parking space, quickly turn the steering wheel fully to the right. Immediately check the left rearview mirror. When the left corner of the parking space appears, straighten the wheels and make minor adjustments. Stop at the designated point.
I've done this many times - turning the steering wheel too early when reversing into the parking space. I was really nervous when first learning to drive, and once almost scraped against a pillar. Turning too early makes the car pivot prematurely, easily causing misalignment or crossing the line. The solution is: don't panic, immediately stop and straighten the steering wheel, then start reversing again. Move back slowly, this time turning the wheel a bit later. Keep watching the rearview mirror to align the rear of the car with the corner line of the parking space. Never rush the turn - reversing slowly gives you better control. After practicing several times, you'll develop the right feel. The key is not to miss the reference points in the mirror - I later developed a habit of checking the distance before turning the wheel. Safety first - if you make a mistake, just stop and try again, don't force yourself to get it right in one go.
