How to Control the Wipers on the Tiguan?

Pull the wiper control lever towards the driver to activate the front windshield washer function. The control button for the rear wiper is located on the right side. Rotate to the corresponding position to turn on the wipers. Pushing the wiper control lever towards the front of the vehicle will spray water to clean the rear windshield. HI is the high-speed setting, and LO is the low-speed setting. These are suitable for different rainy conditions, so adjust appropriately based on the actual driving environment. If you want to adjust the sensitivity of the rain-sensing wipers, use the knob in the center of the lever to make adjustments.
I've been driving a Tiguan for several years and remember being startled the first time I couldn't figure out how to use the wipers. The key control is the stalk on the right side of the steering wheel: pull up for a single wipe, push down for intermittent (first position), slow speed (second position), and fast speed (third position); the middle knob adjusts the intermittent interval. When it rains, gently push the stalk to activate - the rain-sensing wipers can automatically detect precipitation and adjust speed. If the windshield gets dirty, pull the stalk toward you to spray washer fluid. During night driving in heavy rain, it's advisable not to set too slow a speed - maintaining clear visibility is crucial for safety. Regular maintenance is simple: periodically check the wiper blades to prevent aging or sticking. Overall, the controls are straightforward and you'll get familiar with them after a few tries.
