The method for connecting the positive and negative terminals of a battery: Simply place the positive and negative terminals on their respective posts, then install the clamping block and secure it with the clamping screw. The positive terminal connects to the main wire, while the negative terminal is grounded, meaning it connects to the vehicle's chassis. If there are no electrical devices consuming power between the positive and negative circuits (direct contact), a short circuit will occur. For regular battery maintenance, it is important to avoid prolonged use of electrical devices such as audio systems, DVDs, radios, lights, and air conditioning after turning off the engine. The usage time should ideally not exceed 30 minutes. If electrical devices must be used, it is recommended to start the engine so that the alternator can supply power.
