How to Connect CarPlay in the Tenth Generation Accord?

Connect your phone to the vehicle's USB port using a USB cable. Once successfully connected, it will automatically enter CarPlay mode. If Siri on your phone is not enabled, the car's head unit will display a message indicating that CarPlay is unavailable. Simply turn it on in [Settings]. You can operate and control CarPlay using the [Volume Control] button on the steering wheel, the touchscreen of the head unit, or the physical buttons in the car.
Connecting CarPlay to the 10th-generation Accord is quite straightforward. I was also worried about complicated operations when I first used it, but the actual process was smooth. First, make sure your iPhone is running iOS 12 or later, then plug it into the car's USB port using an original Apple cable—the USB port is located inside the center armrest. After starting the vehicle, the car's infotainment screen will automatically pop up a CarPlay setup prompt; just tap "Allow." If there's no response, check if the "CarPlay" option is enabled in your phone's settings. Once connected, navigation and music will be available. I think connecting before driving is safest to avoid distractions. Regularly replacing the cable can also prevent unstable connections. Remember, the 10th-generation Accord only supports wired CarPlay, so don’t waste time trying Bluetooth or wireless connections.
