How to connect CarPlay in the 2021 Bora?

Ensure that the car's location supports the use of CarPlay and that the car is compatible with CarPlay. Connect the phone's data cable to the Bora's car stereo USB port. Follow the prompts to activate the voice assistant Siri on the phone, and the car stereo will automatically launch CarPlay. If the CarPlay interface does not appear on the car stereo's main screen, you can manually tap the CarPlay icon on the phone to start the system.
Connecting CarPlay to the 2021 Bora is actually quite simple. When I use it, I first locate the USB port under the center console, which is positioned in the storage compartment in front of the gear lever. Connect your iPhone using an original Apple cable – make sure not to use power bank cables, as they must support data transfer. The infotainment screen will then display a prompt; just tap the Apple CarPlay icon. The first connection might require you to confirm device trust on your phone, but subsequent connections will be automatic. It's particularly useful while driving, as navigation is directly projected onto the car's display, eliminating the need to look down at your phone. Oh, and remember to disconnect Bluetooth, otherwise the audio might conflict. If you can't connect, check the cable connection or restart both the infotainment system and your phone. Sometimes the car's USB port might have unstable power supply – try switching to another port.
