How to Connect CarPlay in CRV?

First, start the car and power it on. Simultaneously press the VOL, TEL, and brightness buttons on the center control screen, then wait for a few seconds. Select the second option on the interface. On the new interface, choose "SmartphoneInformation". Navigate to the tab page, select "CarPlay" and turn it on. Return to the center control interface and connect your iPhone to the USB port.
Last time I helped my friend set up CarPlay in his CR-V, it was quite a hassle – the key is using a reliable data cable. First, plug an Apple original or MFi-certified cable into the USB port with the phone icon in the center console. When you start the car, a prompt should pop up on the screen. Don’t forget to go into your phone’s settings and tap 'Allow CarPlay Connection.' If there’s no response, try rebooting the infotainment system: hold down the voice command button on the steering wheel for 10 seconds until the screen goes black and restarts. Also, make sure your iOS version isn’t too old – at least iOS 15 or higher for stable performance. And avoid using worn-out cables – my frayed one wouldn’t connect, but a new one worked instantly. Once connected, you can mirror Gaode Navigation directly to the screen, which is way more convenient than a phone mount.
