How to Connect CarPlay?

Connect the data cable to the USB port of the car's infotainment system. You will be prompted to enable Siri on your phone, and the car's system will automatically launch CarPlay. If the CarPlay interface does not appear on the car's main screen, tap the CarPlay icon on your phone to activate the system.
Connecting to CarPlay is actually quite simple. From my own experience, most cars support either wired or wireless connection. For the wired method, you'll need a Lightning to USB cable—one end plugs into the car's multimedia interface, usually found on the center console, and the other connects to your iPhone. After getting in the car and starting the engine, the infotainment screen will display the CarPlay option; just tap it. Then, a prompt will appear on your iPhone asking if you allow the connection—simply tap 'Yes.' If you're using wireless CarPlay, make sure both the car's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are turned on, and your iPhone has Bluetooth enabled and is connected to the car's Wi-Fi network. The whole process takes about half a minute. Once connected, maps, music, and messages will be mirrored on the car's display, making driving much more convenient. Remember to check that your iPhone is updated to the latest iOS version to avoid compatibility issues. After the initial setup, it will automatically connect the next time you get in the car—truly hassle-free.
