How to Connect BMW CarPlay?

Click to enter the ConnectedDrive interface, find the "Manage Mobile Devices" option, and click "Connect New Device". After the system displays "Select Apple CarPlay", open your iPhone and find the "General" option in Settings. After entering the "General" function interface, click on CarPlay.
I previously tried connecting CarPlay in a BMW, and it was actually quite simple. I remember the first time I used it, I just connected my iPhone with a USB cable, plugged it into the port in the car's center console, then opened the iDrive system in the car's infotainment, found the Mobile Devices or CarPlay option in the main menu, and clicked to connect. However, once I encountered a connection issue and realized my phone's Bluetooth was still on, causing a conflict. After restarting both the car's infotainment and my iPhone, it worked fine. Nowadays, many new BMWs support wireless CarPlay, making it even more convenient without cables—just pair via Bluetooth in the settings. It's recommended to regularly update both iOS and the vehicle's software to avoid compatibility issues. Avoid setting it up while driving—safety first. If it fails, try a few more times or check the cable connection.
