Activate Car Bluetooth: First, turn on the Bluetooth function on both your phone and the car's device, and set the car's Bluetooth to 'Visible to All' in the settings. 2. Pairing: Search for Bluetooth devices on your phone, select the car's device once found, and pair them using the password 0000 or 1234. Once paired, the connection is successful. After successfully connecting the car's Bluetooth, you can play music from your phone on the car's Bluetooth device. If you set your phone to auto-connect, the Bluetooth will automatically pair the next time you use the car.
When I first got my Tayron, I also struggled for a while. Actually, connecting Bluetooth to your phone for music is quite simple. After getting in the car, don’t rush to start the engine—just power on to light up the infotainment screen. Swipe your finger to the left side of the screen and tap the Media button, then select the Bluetooth option in Settings. At this point, turn on your phone’s Bluetooth and look for a device name starting with ‘VW’ in the available devices. Tap to pair, and a four-digit PIN will pop up—usually 0000 or 1234. Once you enter the PIN and the screen turns blue, you’re connected. It’ll automatically reconnect next time you get in the car, and you can just switch to your phone’s music app to play songs. I’ve tried NetEase Cloud Music and QQ Music, both work smoothly. While driving, you can use the song-switching buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. The sound quality isn’t as good as a wired connection, but it’s more convenient. Older models might need a system update—newer versions of the infotainment system pair faster.
