How to Connect Bluetooth in the Older Imported Renault Koleos?

Turn on both the mobile phone Bluetooth and the car Bluetooth, ensuring they are in discoverable mode. On the mobile phone's Bluetooth interface, click "Search for Devices." The phone should be able to detect the car Bluetooth. Select the car Bluetooth displayed on the phone and click on the car Bluetooth settings to pair. If the pairing code is entered correctly, "Connected" will soon be displayed on the car Bluetooth. In the car Bluetooth settings interface, select the "Auto-connect" function to enable automatic connection in the future.
My old imported Koleos has a somewhat outdated Bluetooth system, but the pairing process is quite straightforward. First, start the engine to ensure power supply. Then navigate to the settings menu via the left steering wheel button (on my model), select "Devices" or "Bluetooth" to activate. Next, enable your phone's Bluetooth and set it to "Discoverable" mode. Return to the car's infotainment system, tap "Search for Devices," and wait for your phone name to appear (usually within seconds). Select it, enter the pairing code (commonly 0000 or 1234), then test calls/music playback. Successful pairing enables automatic reconnection later.
Note: Older Bluetooth systems may respond slower – avoid high-interference areas like cell towers. Don't rush; practice makes perfect. Once connected, it significantly enhances driving convenience for calls/music. Hope these tips help you enjoy a smoother experience!
