How to Connect a Rearview Camera?

Methods for connecting a rearview camera and its wiring: 1. Display Screen: Supports AVIN video input, currently available in two protocols: Bluetooth wireless connection and wired connection. 2. Functionality: Purchase a rearview camera based on the display screen's protocol, either wired or wireless, preferably with night vision and waterproof features. 3. Wiring: Connect the power cables of the rearview camera to the two poles of the reverse light, paying attention to the positive and negative poles. For wired connection, connect the video cable of the rearview camera to the AVIN port of the display screen. For wireless connection, pair it with the display screen. 4. Ignition: Shift into reverse gear and check if the display screen shows the image.
I just installed a rearview camera on my car a few days ago, and the whole process wasn't difficult to handle. First, remove the trunk cover to locate the wiring harness for the reverse light—the red and black wire is the positive, connect it to the camera's power positive terminal. The black wire is the negative, just secure it to a body screw, which is called grounding. The video output wire is usually yellow and needs to be pulled into the cabin to connect to the video input port on the back of the head unit. Before starting, remember to disconnect the car battery to prevent short circuits. After installation, test the car to see if the reverse indicator light turns on to check if the power is connected. For durability, add some waterproof tape to wrap the connections.
