How to Close Windows with Cadillac XT4 Car Key?

After the car is turned off, the windows cannot be closed. To close the car windows, you need to start the car engine first. After starting the car, manually pull up the window switch on the driver's side to fully raise the glass, and the window will be closed.

This feature is pretty cool on the XT4—just hold down the lock button on the key fob to close all the windows. Once, before it started raining, I suddenly remembered the windows were open. I stood downstairs in my neighborhood, held the key fob for about 5 seconds, and watched all four windows smoothly roll up. Super convenient! Just note that the key must be within the sensor range, which is effective within about 5 meters of the car. It’s best to regularly check the key fob battery, as low battery can cause malfunctions. If holding the button doesn’t work, try locking the car once and then retrying. If it still doesn’t respond, you might need to visit the 4S shop to check if there’s an issue with the window lift system.
