How to clear the maintenance wrench light on Chery E3?

Press the toggle button on the multifunction steering wheel, insert the key to power on the vehicle, and then restart the engine. The wrench light will then be cleared. The vehicle's maintenance cycle is preset at the factory, so the "small wrench" indicator will appear at certain mileage intervals to remind the driver to perform timely maintenance.
I've been driving the Chery E3 for several years, and when the little wrench light comes on, it reminds me that it's time for maintenance. The method to clear it is quite simple: first, turn off the ignition switch to completely cut off the power to the car. Then, press and hold the reset button on the dashboard, usually called the ODO Trip button, which is that small knob in front of the steering wheel. Next, turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine, and keep holding the button. After a few to a dozen seconds, you'll see the wrench light flash and then go out. At that point, you can release the button, and it's done. I often do this at home to avoid spending money at the shop. After clearing it, the light won't come on, but it only resets the reminder system. You still need to perform the maintenance on time, or the light will come back on. Ignoring the maintenance cycle might seem fine at first, but prolonged neglect can damage the car, such as causing faster engine wear due to aged oil. It's recommended to develop the habit of resetting the light immediately after maintenance to keep the car in good condition.
