Method to clear the maintenance reminder on a Haval: 1. Turn off the ignition switch, then press and hold the trip meter reset button on the instrument cluster; 2. Turn on the ignition switch; 3. The odometer display will start counting down. When the display shows 0000.0, release the button. At this point, the wrench indicator light on the instrument cluster, which signifies maintenance required, should turn off. Haval is a sub-brand under Great Wall Motors. The Haval brand, primarily focused on SUV models, operates in parallel with the Great Wall brand, utilizing independent logos, product development, production, service systems, and specializing in SUV manufacturing and sales. The Haval lineup includes three series: H, M, and F.

I just learned a method at the repair shop, and it's actually quite simple to reset the maintenance reminder on a Haval vehicle. First, don't start the car, just turn the key to the position where the dashboard lights up—power on but engine off. Then, press the ODO mileage toggle button at the lower right corner of the dashboard three times in a row. You'll hear a beep sound. After that, hold down the button for about 15 seconds until all the numbers in the middle of the dashboard turn into dashes, then release. Once done, turn off the key and power on again, and you'll notice the little wrench icon has disappeared. Be careful not to touch other buttons while doing this to avoid accidentally messing up the onboard computer.
