How to Clean Stickers on Car Windows?

Introduction to cleaning stickers on car windows: Apply a hot towel to the car window, then peel off the sticker. For the remaining adhesive, you can use essential balm, alcohol, or hand cream by applying it and wiping it off with a towel. Alternatively, use a hair dryer to heat the car sticker until the adhesive melts, then peel it off while slowly blowing and pulling along the peeling area. Here are some methods for dealing with leftover adhesive: 1. Use an eraser to easily remove the adhesive without damaging the car paint. 2. Use a dedicated tar remover to eliminate the adhesive (since tar remover is somewhat corrosive, it's advisable to wear gloves during the process). 3. Use alcohol to wipe the adhesive until it is completely removed.
I found it quite simple and convenient to clean when dealing with window decals before. For example, I would spray warm water mixed with a few drops of dish soap onto the decal, let it soak for five minutes to soften the adhesive, and then gently scrape off the bulk of the decal with an old bank card or similar plastic card. If there were any residual adhesive stains, I would dip a bit of white liquor or rubbing alcohol and apply it to scrub, which worked very well without damaging the glass. Remember to do this in a warm area of the car, like turning on the heater a bit, as the adhesive softens more easily. Afterward, rinse thoroughly with water and dry with a microfiber cloth to avoid blurring. I've used this method many times—no fancy tools needed, just everyday household items, and the key is to be patient and avoid using knives that could scratch the glass. Later, I also make sure to regularly clean the glass to prevent decals from leaving marks again, keeping the view clear for safer driving.
