How to Clean Sludge Inside the Engine?

Cleaning sludge inside the engine can be done as follows: 1. Drain the oil from the oil pan while the engine is still hot. After the oil has completely drained, reinstall the drain plug. 2. Add an equal amount of light diesel fuel to the crankcase as the original oil volume. 3. Start the engine and let it idle for about 3-5 minutes before shutting it off. Do not rev the engine, as this may cause damage. 4. Immediately drain the diesel fuel from the oil pan, which by now will have turned into dirtier and blacker sludge than the original oil. 5. Refill with fresh, high-quality engine oil, drive approximately 20 kilometers, and then replace the oil again with fresh, high-quality oil. At this point, you can also replace the oil filter.
I've had some hands-on experience with cleaning engine sludge. Just buy a bottle of specialized engine cleaner, add it to the old engine oil according to the instructions, start the engine and let it idle for 15 to 20 minutes to allow the cleaner to circulate and break down deposits. Then quickly turn off the engine, drain the dirty oil and sludge residue, and replace it with new oil and a filter. The whole process is simple, but remember to wear gloves for protection and choose a well-ventilated environment. If you don't have time to do it yourself, it's more convenient to go to a repair shop for a professional cleaning once a year or so. Too much sludge can affect fuel consumption and acceleration performance, so regular maintenance can prevent this. I always check the engine condition every time I change the oil.
