How to Clean Mold Stains on Car Seats?
2 Answers
Take an appropriate amount of car seat mold remover and fill it into a spray bottle, then evenly spray it on the moldy areas of the seat. Use a brush to scrub the area until the mold is removed, leaving behind a layer of residue. Allow the mold remover to sit on the moldy leather for half an hour to an hour, and the mold stains will gradually decompose and be cleaned away.
I've handled this several times. First, mix baking soda and white vinegar into a paste, put on rubber gloves, and use an old toothbrush to scrub the moldy areas. For fabric chairs, be extra careful not to make them too wet, and use a dry towel to absorb excess moisture after scrubbing. For wooden chairs, wipe them with diluted bleach and immediately clean with water. After treatment, let them dry in a ventilated area for two to three days, preferably with a fan blowing on them. Avoid direct sunlight, as some fabrics may fade or become brittle. If the mold has turned black and penetrated the inner layer, you might need to consider replacing the chair cover, as handling it yourself could pose health risks.
