How to Clean Lime Powder off a Car?

Squeeze an appropriate amount of car cleaner onto a cloth (car cleaner contains anionic surfactants that can dissolve and remove lime stains from the car). Use the cloth to carefully wipe away the lime stains on the car. Then, use a damp towel to clean the car body thoroughly, and the lime on the car will be removed.
When lime powder falls on the car, I think the first step is definitely not to rush to wipe it with a cloth, because lime powder may contain alkaline substances, and wiping it can cause the car paint to corrode. The method I most commonly use is to find a hose and rinse the powder off from a distance with water, keeping the water pressure not too high and slowly washing it away. If it doesn’t come off completely, I’ll use some neutral car wash soap, like diluted dish soap, spray it on, wait a few minutes, and then rinse it off—this way, it won’t damage the paint. When parking, it’s best to avoid construction sites or areas near cement factories to reduce the chance of powder falling on the car. Also, remember to check the roof and hood for any residue after rinsing, as leaving it for a long time can harm the car, especially in the summer heat when lime is more corrosive to the paint. I have to wash the car regularly to keep it clean.
